When I say at-home date nights can be as romantic as one as dining and slow dancing to soft jazz on a starry night in French Riviera, I mean every word of it. I've done both and to be honest, I prefer the one in my jammies at home. Not because I was not in love with the sandy beaches and the mouth-watering food there, but simply because of the comfort of a night in, nestled on my couch, tucked under a soft blanket with a bowl of steaming Pad Thai. Yum. Nothing beats that. No, not even the temptation of a night out with my partner.

There's a downside. My girlfriends tell me at-home dates are boring, bland, and usually end up with drying dishes. Yes, they do. But it doesn't have to be that way as I learned from my mentor and coach. She knew all about at-home dating and how to spice things up. I tried and it was the BEST DATE EVER.

Make It Magical. Make It Everlasting Roses

Create the Ambience. This is the backdrop of the story that’s about to unfold. It’s the central theme. Plan it well, and execute it even before your partner steps in. Don't announce anything in advance. Keep it a secret. Remember ambiance and secrecy will seduce your partner better than any off-shoulder mini dress.

Use mankind's oldest seduction tool - the rose. Men have used this to seduce women since ancient times. We know how the lusty Romans and Greeks would use rose petals to lure women to their beds. Times have changed. Now women can use the rose to hypnotize men into their sack.

Bubble Bath
